Okay, when I'm not espousing the virtues of all my lovely suppliers through my Meet the Maker interviews, I want to share the stories of my many business buddies. Through my own adventures into small business, I have been lucky enough to meet and rub shoulders with all manner of inspiring women, doing all manner of inspiring things. While every biz is different, even when in the same industry, all these biz babes are all following their hearts and pursuing their passions in all manner of creative fields. So...I've opened a little shop on Etsy for all of my exclusive Creative Finds designs! As a champion of all things hand-made, my online store has a beautiful selection of handcrafted gift ideas that I've both sourced and had made for me.  The Etsy Shop however will showcase only the products that are my own. And you know what they say; having an online shop without any marketing and SEO, is like setting up a shop in a dessert - no one is just going to wander past for a look as they don't know it's there. Last Thursday I zipped over the bridge to the annual Retail Trade event that is Life Instyle. I have a pretty specific set of criteria when sourcing new products - hand-crafted, light weight so as easy to post, unbreakable, non-perishable, small for postage and storage and it has to be something I would happily give to a dear friend as a gift. This set of criteria is fortunate as it means I can whip around these events quickly, and on that particular day I had a tight timeframe. With some more hours up my sleeve I'd have loved to listen...
