You wouldn't want to come back as a blank wall in Bali unless you were partial to some paint. Mural Masterpieces abound. It seemed as though each blank wall, was seen as an opportunity to either make a statement, spread some love or simply to splash some colour about. Come and say hi if you're partial to a good ol' School Spring Fair, as I'll be bringing my Creative Finds to share with lots of lovely school communities over the coming months. Cake Stalls, Jazz Bands, Lucky Dips and Giant Slides; there is something for the whole family at a School Fair. The kids love it, because it's school but not as they know it. Whilst in Bali on our girls vaycay, I made sure to visit the lovely makers responsible for bringing my leather slide designs to life. Tucked away in the back streets of Kuta, are Iwan and his wife Retno who have a family business that they operate in a shed outside their home. Here they make leather sandals and slides with their team; Imas and Hadi. Here they are with their adorable baby Amira:   The slides are made from start to finish by hand. Bali with your buddies. 5 days and 5 nights with no kids - which essentially means; no cooking, no cleaning, no washing, no grocery shopping, no car pooling, no mediating, no negotiating, no home-work supervision...
