Market Finds... part 1

Market Finds... part 1
This past couple of weekends are traditionally busy ones in the artisan market game. Pre Mother's Day is the perfect opportunity for makers to promote their beautiful creations and for gift shoppers to pick up something unique and something with a story. While I've frequented my local Organic Farmers Market, who also has a range of creative stall holders, this past weekend I visited the Sydney Finders Keepers Market as well as Sydney Made who are at The Rocks Markets for the month of May. Too many earrings is never enough, so it's a good thing I loaded up on no less than 5 x pairs over the two days. And I really had to show some restraint. I could have easily gone on. So many delightful finds, I'll split the blog post into several, so you're not scrolling for days to keep abreast of all the handmade products that I simply couldn't say no to. Check out the pics below and the links to some of my favourite hand-crafted gift purchases. A few of which I'm gifting to the Mother's in our life this weekend, and a few I hope to stock in the Creative Finds online gift store real soon... The gold leaf had me at hello...   Hepzabeth Soaps   In order to keep the myriad of earrings and other (costume) jewels in order, the clever team at Bon Maxie have designed and created anti-boring accessory holders. That's their tag line and they deliver. Look at these: Bon Maxie Accessories Holder Bon Maxie Accessories Holder   The team of four who is Kirralee & Co have created a purposeful & sustainable decor range out of their solar powered shed in Queensland. Alison has a love for the traditional craft of Silversmithing, and combines technical skills, experience and her passion for making into exclusive ranges of table-ware, jewellery and large scale creative installations. Alison Jackson Earrings   Will post more of my favourite hand-crafted finds from recent market visits in another post real soon. In the meantime, I have a Winner to announce!
