So here we are - 2018 is well underway - in fact there's only 11 months until the festive season is here again! After a crazy, busy lead up to Christmas, I submitted a leave form to myself and had January off the business hamster wheel, to re-group, re-charge and re-assess whilst soaking up the super summer sun and hanging with the family. We decided on a staycation, and were tourists in our own city. There were no crowds, and no traffic at all the usual hot spots, plus we could come home exhausted and then sleep in our own beds. Win/Win. Lots of hand-crafted gifts were given and received in our world over Christmas, while I continued to keep an eye firmly out for new finds. Refreshingly, I gave social media a wide berth throughout the holiday period and instead basked in paperbacks and magazines. I was however still very snap happy (old habits die hard), so here is a little summer slide-show of sorts. Here's to an awesome 2018 everyone - we got this.
