Last week I visited the
Life Instyle Trade Show at Sydney's Hordern Pavillion. While many of the exhibitors at these shows are well established brands, who have large minimum order quantities and they already supply to many stores and businesses all over Australia; there is always the "first in show" section that I gravitate towards. Here are businesses who are relatively new to the the trade show experience. It's a section devoted towards emerging designers and, an early adopter, I love the innovation, quality & originality on display in this area of the show. Here are my three favourite 'finds' - surely it goes without saying that each product is hand-made - and products that I hope to be bringing to the creative finds online gift store very soon....!! Honor from Mudgee has created her own Tea Bar, with a range of teas beautifully packaged, quirkily named, and ready to gift. It's Monday morning as I'm writing this, and I've just downed two cups of the "Can't adult today". Delicious!
The discerning, modern dog owner will join me in swooning all over the pooch related products by
Nice Digs! Complementing the home are these contemporary and stylish accessories for your fur baby, designed, printed and made in Melbourne using quality leathers and fixtures. And due to popular demand, there are now even a few pieces for the puss-cats too!

Huckleberry. I particularly loved the
"Make your Own" Sets and think the Bath Bomb set could be a lovely Mothers Day gift for mother and child to make together and then to enjoy in a long, relaxing bath. And I couldn't resist the Flower Crowns - timely too with Mardi Gras coming up!
Sometimes these trade fairs can be overwhelming with the huge array of stands and products on offer. Luckily for me, my antennae is finely tuned towards the newest, hand-made products that would make the perfect gift to stock in the Creative Finds Online Gift Store (ie: they are lightweight, easy to post, cost effective, and unique). This makes it a little easier to zero in on the emerging designers and makers and their cutting edge products. Inspiration at every turn. S x
